Intelligent routing in sensor networks

Fernando Pulido-Pulido; José Camacho
Abstract:
Wireless sensor networks (WSNs) are currently in the focus of many researchers and technology companies as a result of being a growing technology. The main objective of a WSN is the quick, flexible and autonomous acquisition and processing of data with multiple applications in different fields. The goal of the present project is the design, implementation and analysis of different intelligent routing techniques. These will be tested in a temperature monitoring system for forest fire control on the tool MATLAB. Routing techniques must ensure that an observation reach their destination and allow improving the system capacity for recovery of missing data due to potential vulnerabilities of the network itself.
